Snow in the Desert?

Tanner and I went out for a little outing (on Dec 17) to Starbucks for hot chocolate. On the way home, we stopped at the grocery store to get McCray's snacks for preschool the next day. That is when Tanner received some very good news. School was cancelled due to the snow! It wasn't feet of snow, just four or five inches. I know! School was never cancelled for inches of snow when I went. We did have a lot of fun in it though. On the way home, around 9:30pm, we passed our church where various people in the ward were out playing in it, throwing snowballs, making snowmen, rolling around....I dropped Tanner off with them all to enjoy the fresh white fluff. When I got home I talked Scooter into going out to play in it. McCray didn't take too much talking into, he just wanted to go out. We had so much fun out there in the snow. We had snowball fights. We made a snowman. McCray made a snow angle. We caught snowflakes on our tongue. We need a winter storm like that every year. It was perfect and gone in three days!
