Oh, The Talent!

One of my favorite things is when my family gets together for a talent show. This year was the first year that the adults participated. Some talents were serious talents and some were just for fun.
There was such a wide variety of talents. A few did art projects. Kelton, who is four, did a card trick that was the cutest trick I've ever seen. He has such a gentle little spirit. My sister Cristi did flossing her teeth AND the splits. She was even in jeans and did the splits. Jana showed off her patient wife skills when she got word from Chad that he wasn't coming home for that talent show because he was having too much fun on a coyote hunt. Jana is amazing and skinny. My dad and Logan made sheep noises while mom played the piano. Erin and Beau's family took us on a bear hunt that wasn't even scary. Tanner showed off his hunting skills by showing pictures of his dead dear. McCray did a fabulous summer-salt and then hopped on one foot, such coordination for a boy his age! Dessie's talent was keeping her head bands and bows on her head. Kimber told me I had a talent for making cute babies, so I showed off my kids! Scoot didn't get into the party so much, so there was no showing of his talent. It could have been running fast, roping, being the bull, hide-and-go-seek, having dimples, any of those would have worked. It was a great night. I love to watch the kids, some will get so excited and nervous before they perform their greatness. Maybe next time Scoot and I will put together a real talent.

Julie, tell Scoot he has a request for next year...I want to see him "be the bull." I hope that has to do with roping??? :) Hee hee! You do make the cutest kids, for sure!! What fun memories! Loved that post!!
