She did it! She turned one! It has been fun watching her grow. It really does go by so fast. You only have a "baby" for about a year and then you have a toddler. I will miss the baby stage. Their whole entire wold depends on you. I am excited about the next stage. They grow and learn so much their first year of life and it only continues.Adessa is patient and mild. She isn't adventurous or daring. She likes her comfort zone. Both of my boys are so much like their dad's. I think Dessie will be a little like her mom. I like to know
darkness. In her life, I'm sure she will have to take many of those steps into the dark. I hope I can teach her to be confident with who she is and to rely on her Heavenly Father. I know through Him, nothing is impossible.

Julie, you have an awesome blog!! Good for you to just bite the bullet and do it...I need to, but you can see I'm still coming up with some good ideas. Happy late birthday!! Sorry we missed you over Halloween...Chad and I had a great, much-needed get-a-way. The kids still talk about Scooter's witch costume...hee heee. Wish I could have seen it!!!

And I like to think, though I don't even remember her, Dessie has some of her other name-sake in her too. She is a beautiful girl and deserves both her names.
She's too cute!!! How fun that she's one. Watch out Julie...girls are handfuls when they get older!!!
PS...She looked adorable at church today...as usual. Loved her matching tights!!!
One thing I have learned, they always stay your baby girl!
