Scoot has owned this truck since I have known him... about eight years. Everyone in town who knew him also knew him by his truck. It is one of a kind. If ever you saw it around town, or even miles away from home, you knew it was Scoot. There was never a question of, I wonder if it's him? It just was. Scoot has loved this truck. They shared a bond like a truckmance. It was a man truck.
About four years ago this was the only vehicle we owned. I did not share the same love for that truck. In fact I hated it. I didn't dislike it until I had to drive it everywhere. I thought it was horrible. The truck is huge. I put 10 miles on the thing every time I tried to park it. By the time I got done backing up and pulling forward it was ten minutes later. I could never just park it either. I had to scower the parking lot for three open parking places that were side by side. There was no just swinging it in and parking. It was a task. When I finally got a new car, I never drove it again. I then started channeling my dislike for into wanting to get rid of it. I nagged, and nagged, at Scoot to sell it. I couldn't understand why he wanted to keep. He had a different truck too, so why not just sell it. I was complaining about it to my dad once and he told me, "Julie, there is something about a man and his truck." It's been a couple of years since my dad told me that, and about a week ago Scoot sold his truck. Now that it's gone, I'm feeling guilty for all of the times I asked Scoot to get rid of it, for all of my hatred for it, for all of my whining and complaining. I should've been nicer to it and Scooter. It really was a good truck to him.
So if ever you are in Ogden, it's new home now, and you see this truck don't judge it by it's size or looks just know it was trustworthy, and did whatever it was asked!

I'm sure that the new owner will love it just as much as Scoot did! I have found that Chad's truck is very long and requires a long parking space...he loves having a truck and doesn't seem to mind much either!
